Beautiful place in a great location near the lakes, loved it here; the double room with a private bathroom was prepared for us upon arrival.

The room was impeccably clean and huge with telescope and private bathroom, I felt comfortable there. The staff were really helpful, the location was wonderful and stunning.

Definitely, there was restaurant missing.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The setting right on the waterfront was jaw-dropping, with amazing views and easy beach access. The owner, Lyn, gave us a super friendly welcome and made us feel right at home. The property itself was huge, with plenty of space to relax in the sitting room, conservatory, and viewing room. The large TV and telescope were a nice touch. The extra-large bathroom was a pleasant surprise and the wifi worked perfectly. And let's not forget the breakfast - it was simply amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The location was great, close to everything in the village and easy to find. The double room with private bathroom was immaculately clean and the bed was super comfy. The two comfortable lounges were a nice bonus and we loved the picnic area/tables. the cleanliness, exceptional service, and excellent facilities exceeded our expectations. We were so inspired by our stay that we're planning to return. Plus, the no smoking policy on site was a big plus. Can't recommend this place enough!

The value for money at Heron House was really good, with a comfortable and looked super fresh room. The location was perfect, being close to Millom and easily accessible to the beautiful Lake District.

The morning meal could have been improved by providing alternative payment options, as we were only informed about the cash-only policy after finishing our breakfast. This caused a minor inconvenience, especially on a business trip.

The wider location seemed a bit run down, with limited dining options apart from a pub in need of refurbishment.
